Running Briefs has a new Editor effective with the December 2005 issue: Andy Sterns; in addition, Andy is Running Club North's Media Liason. You can contact him with stories or race results, by e-mail or by mail thru RCN, P.O. Box 84237, Fairbanks, 99709. EIGHTEEN issues of Running Briefs, from December 2002 thru February 2006, are on line. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access these and future issues. Contact Person for New Runners

Both runners new to our area and runners new to the sport now have someone to turn to for advice: Tracey Martinson. In addition to being a Member-At-Large on Running Club North's Executive Council, Tracey is the contact person for new runners. So, if you're a beginning runner and want advice on how to start, where to run, who to run with, or if you're a runner new to our area and want to connect with other runners, contact Tracey by e-mail, or by phone at 907-474-8353.

Through December 17, 2007, our site has been visited 1,120,195 times

Through our FIRST 10 YEARS, our site was visited 653,482 times (our first day on-line was April 27, 1996). Website visits have averaged just under 25,000/month during the first 11 months of calendar year 2007, with over 270,000 visits recorded (according to our server-based site tracking software); this includes a record 55,600+ visits during the month of October!
And on October 11, 2007, we recorded our 1,000,000th website visit!!
