Alaska Marine Highway System
Individuals who may wish to bypass a large portion
of the Alaska-Canada highway have the option of taking a vehicle ferry from
Prince Rupert, Canada to Hanes, Alaska or Bellingham, Washington to Hanes,
Alaska.
Although it does detract from saddle time, the
trip through the inside passage is a unique Alaska experience.
