Alaskaland

Located in the heart of the Golden Heart City, Alaskaland is a 44-acre Park filled with Alaska's history. Originally built to commemorate the 100 th anniversary of the purchase of Alaska from Russia, today it is an historic site and community park.
The Civic Center acts as a community center offering an art gallery featuring rotating exhibits, exhibition halls and meeting rooms as well as a 384 seat theater featuring the Northern Inua Show daily at 8:00 PM from mid May Through mid September.

Sternwheeler Nenanna

Relieve the spirit of adventure with those Poineers who braved a trip to the Interior abord the original Sternwheeler Nenanna, a famous craft that traveled Alaska's riverways for many years as part of the Yukon River Fleet. Now permanently docked at Alaskaland, the Nenanna offers visitors a first hand look at life as it was in those early years. Recently proclaimed an Historic Landmark.

Crooked Creek & Whisky Island Railroad

take a journey through the Park aboard the Crooked Creek and Whiskey Island Railroad. Travel back in time as you pass through the recreated areas of the Park.

Gold Rush Town

Browse through the many unique shops in Gold Rush Town which are original pioneer log cabins from around the State refurbished as close as possible to their original condition. They are now occupied by local merchants who offer an assortment of refreshments, gifts, and Alaskana. Make sure you plan a stop at the Palace Theater & Saloon where you may sit and sample fresh popcorn and your favorite beverage and watch a fantastic musical show based on Alaska's colorful history.
