Fairbanks International Airport

Located at the West end of Airport road, The Fairbanks International Airport keeps very busy year around with both passenger and cargo flights. Airplanes from all over the world stop by to either pick up fuel or drop off curious passenger to see Fairbanks Alaska. Passenger flights arrive all day long in the summer time. (since the sun does not set) Cargo flights take advantage of Fairbanks convenient polar location and good lift in the winter. Several car rental agencies and hotels have stands at the airport. The airport also has many displays of Arctic wildlife and early aircraft. Upstairs you can always find a interesting display of local Alaskan artists.
