Feb 6 (Sat)..............Navajo Warping
After Wednesday's meeting and warping demo, come make your own warp to start making something on this very portable style of loom.
WHAT TO BRING: Two short or med length dowels & warping yarn, either wool or cotton

Feb 13 (Sat).......... FREE Warping Session On Paddle Warping, Two Color or Mixed Warp
Review your warping techniques with a winter warp or learn how to paddle warp using many threads. No hassle beaming, even tension, and no tangles or loose threads.
WHAT TO BRING: Your small or rigid heddle loom or rent a table loom to take home ($6 a week).

Feb 20 (Sat)..............Natural and Chemical Dyeing
No mordanting needed – Protein fibers only. This includes silk & wool.
WHAT TO BRING: Your yarn or rovings in a lingerie bag AND Heavy rubber gloves, stainless cooking pot or an un-chipped enamel pot, tongs, pre-washed skeins, waterproof apron, plastic labeling, waterproof sharpie, Zip-lock bags for wet skeins
TIME & LOCATION: 2 to 5 pm -- A Weaver's Yarn, 1810 Alaska Way (off College Rd), 374-1995

Mid-March start until Mid-May (Tues & Thurs) ....6 week Daytime Weaving Class
For Beginners, Intermediate and advanced students. Beginning Student will make a colorful sampler warp with a variety of threading / treadling patterns and a summer scarf warp designed from the sampler. Intermediate/Advanced Student will shorter version of the ART 227 -- Fashion Fabric. Contact Instructor for more details.

April 10 or 11 (Sat or Sun)............Paint Your Warp
Make your warp on Sat, Feb. 13 and paint it on April 10 or 11. Or bring a warp you have previous made. Dyes will be available for cotton, silk, and wool fibers. Some Silk scarves are available for purchase. No hassle beaming, even tension, and no tangles or loose threads.

April ??.................... Felt the Easy Way
Penny has always liked felting but considered the process rather long and tedious, never knowing whether your fancy yarn was staying in place or moving around or just not felting at all. After a taking a workshop in Mesa with the Telerana Weavers Guild, Penny found felting is fun so she will share the technique with us. MORE INFO will be posted later
