Great Beginnings -- Course

| This course will present basic
sewing skills, terminology, equipment usage and notions
that produce quality looking clothing. The goal is to
share learning to sew and the pleasure and satisfaction
of a well made garment. This will be primarily a lecture class. You will be doing your sewing at home. This course is a prerequisite to other, more advanced sewing classes being taught at a later date by the instructor. Techniques that will be covered include: --Grain line, --Blocking, --Zippers, --Mitered corner, --Pocket placement, --Straps, --Boxing, --Hand placement, --Sewing without pins, --Pressing, --Cracking seam, --Tools used to give that professional look. When finished with this class you
will have a fun tote bag that meets class requirements
