Welcome to our Registration Site for the

2011 Alaska International Senior Games!

There are 2 ways to register.

1. ON the Internet

or

2. By Hand

Both methods will be explained below.

The basic registration fee for everyone under 90 years of age is $45.

However, if you register by July 31, 2011 you will get the Early Bird price of $30, saving $15!

There is no registration fee for anyone age 90 and over. However, you can not register online. You need to register by Hand. See #2 below.

All events are free except for the following: Archery, Bowling, Golf (54 hole scratch), Ice Hockey: Coed, Shooting (pistol, rifle, trap), Table Tennis & Tennis. You will see the event fees when you register.

1. On the Internet: Online registration is available June 1st. READ EVERYTHING here before clicking on the registration link. (For your convenience, you may want to print this page of guidelines. It will print in color.)

You have to use a credit card to register on line.

You can register online by going to:

National Senior Games Registration Page

Everyone who has participated in the Alaska International Senior Games, in any National Senior Games or registered in Hangastar in another state probably already has an account set up. You do not need another number. The easiest way to find your account is to click on the "Forgot account #?" and put in your name, birthdate, and gender. If it does not come up, you may fill out your information to get an account.

If you don't have a Password click "Forgot Password?" and then make a password.

Then click on the "Games Registration" tab at the top. You will note that it is possible to register for senior games in other states. Please scroll down to Alaska International Senior Games and click "Register Now". (All the games are described first. At the end of the list of events, click on the yellow bar to bring up your registration choices.)

Note: The Singles Events are listed first, then Doubles Events, and then Team Events. (I know it's not convenient, however it's just the way the computer wants to handle things.)

Also, when registering for a specific event, some Browsers and screens will not allow you to see the box on the right that must be checked to confirm your entry. Make sure you scroll over to the right and click on the box for the events you want to enter.

Ice Hockey: Coed is a Scramble Tournament. Everyone will register in Singles. See the Handbook to find out the details of the event. Everyone will also need to fill our the Hockey Player Evaluation Form, which can be downloaded below or picked up at the Big Dipper Ice Arena in Fairbanks.

On the Team Events (Basketball and Triathlon Team) the captain must register first and put in the Team Name. If you are registering before your team captain, simply register for your single and double events first, and then return to the online registration form at a later time to add your team event.

2. By Hand: To register by hand you can download the Registration & Entry Forms below or pick up the Handbook (registration forms are inside) at the Big Dipper in Fairbanks. The Hockey Player Evaluation Forms can be downloaded below and are available at the Big Dipper. Then either check the box or circle the events (it seems some browsers are showing the check box next to the events and some are not) that you want to participate in and either mail them to AISG, PO Box 73225, Fairbanks, Alaska 99707 or drop them off at the Big Dipper Skate Room in Fairbanks.

If you have any questions, please call 907 978-2388. We want to make sure you get registered!
